Join us for worship

At Downtown East Community Church, we gather weekly for a time of worship, learning, prayer, and discussion. Our services are welcoming, participatory, and rooted in community. Whether you have attended church for years or are simply exploring faith, you are invited to join us.

We are located at 160 Jarvis Street, Toronto M5B 2E1 serving the Downtown East community including Moss Park, Regent Park, Cabbagetown and beyond.

Time: Sunday from 10:30 AM to 12 PM

Service times & location

Sunday Gathering: 1:00 pm — worship, learning, and discussion
Prayer Gathering: Tuesday at 1.30 pm 
"The Chosen" Video and discussion:  Wednesdays at 6:30 pm 

Our Sunday gathering includes worship music, prayer, Scripture teaching, and open discussion. Services typically last approximately 60–80 minutes. Midweek gatherings or special events may also take place throughout the year. Please contact us or check our announcements for updated information.

What to expect

We aim to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels valued.

During a typical service, you can expect:

  • Scripture reading and practical teaching
  • Prayer and spiritual reflection
  • Opportunities for discussion and participation
  • Fellowship time before and after the service

Our congregation reflects the diversity of Toronto’s Downtown East community. We welcome individuals and families from all backgrounds.
